The best gifts are the ones that take more effort than swiping your credit card. A good way to do this is to make your own gifts. Fleece blankets are easy and a good way to involve kids in the gift giving process.

How to

1. Get two different pieces of fleece, preferably one pattern and one solid. They can be any size but must be equal.
2. Lay them together and cut equal strips about an inch apart.
3. Tie the strips together. Be sure to double knot it so it won’t come apart.
