by Becky Oswald

The Stampede says thank you to Cheyenne’s community by doing a little extra. The Stampede can be spotted various places around town volunteering their spare time. They also give back to our youth hockey program weekly at Cheyenne’s U8 learn to skate program. This holiday season they are taking it even further with a hockey boot camp over break.

Stampede Ringing Bells

Stampede Ringing Bells

During the Holiday season you will find Stampede players off the ice at your local businesses. With experience on the ice ringing players bells, makes them very qualified to ring bells for the Salvation Army. They keep it clean so stop by Walmart, King Soopers, Walgreens or Sam’s Clubs. Coach Gill recommends “If you’re out and about, stop by and drop a couple coins in the bucket.” The Stampede players are out there helping the less fortunate have a blessed holiday season. They will be helping out for the next two weeks. As stated online “100% of the money raised stays local!”
