Thanksgiving is almost here but there are signs that Christmas is just around the corner.  Decorations are going up around town and shops are changing their displays, which is a reminder to start looking at local event calendars to see what fun things are being offered this season.  What better way to create amazing memories than to begin annual holiday traditions with family and friends by attending these events together.

Breakfast with Santa

How about beginning with breakfast?  They say it is the most important meal of the day.  If you don’t have kids of your own, borrow someone else’s, and head to Laramie Plains Civic Center December 7th, and have breakfast with Santa.  There will be breakfast, prizes, crafts and pictures at this event which starts at 8:00 a.m. and ends at noon.  Tickets are $3-6.

The doors will open at 1:30 December 7th at The Gryphon Theatre, located at the Laramie Plains Civic Center for a free showing of The Muppet Christmas Carol.  This Christmas classic is a funny and entertaining retelling of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.  After a fun-filled morning with Santa, relax and enjoy this delightful film before heading home to hang some twinkly lights and sip some hot cocoa; a great kick off for a fabulous December!
