Event in action

On November 7th,  my service learning project team along with a United Way representative handed out flyers and informational brochures about United Way and the Panda Express fundraiser. Panda Express would donate 20% of meal purchases to United Way if customers brought in our flyer.

Our team handed out over 250 specially made flyers all around campus to students and faculty at Laramie County Community College. Many people said that they would go to the restaurant to support the fundraiser as well as tell their friends and family about it.

Overflowing with success

I went to Panda Express later on and witnessed a good turnout. Many people seemed to be bringing their families; which is what we were hoping for due to the fact that it would produce a higher bill , and increase the amount that would be taken out of the meal purchase to be donated.
