Street fair fascinates

A flyer posted by the Japan-America Society of Wyoming indicates that from 12:00 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. a street fair will be held in the cafeteria.  The street fair will include raffle tickets, booths, exhibits, and Japanese food (including sushi, takoyaki, shumai , daifuku, curry, and more.)  Don’t know what all that food is?  Come to the street fair and find out!

Demonstrations at the fair include:

Dances with drums

Be sure not to miss the Taiko performance and workshops in the Auditorium from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.   Boulder Taiko Hibiki will perform Taiko style drumming and dancing for an hour.  Don’t miss out on the opportunity to try it out for yourself!  After the performance, adults and children interested in learning Taiko will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on Taiko workshops.
