Basketball team running behind

27 Nov

Thanksgiving break is almost over for Laramie County Community College Campus and the basketball team will be back on the court. Hopefully this break gave them the well needed rest to get back out on the court and win.

The men’s basketball team needs to step it up a notch. They have four loses and two wins of the seven games played this season with the last game being a win against Garden City. The next game the Eagles will play will be this Friday, December 3, so get out to Torrington to show support and help our boys win against Eastern Wyoming Alumni.

Alumni might have a chance

The basketball team has already gone head to head against Eastern Wyoming twice, winning the first game and just barely losing the second game, it should be interesting watching them go up against old school players of the same college. Let’s hope this can be a successful, fun win for the basketball boys of LCCC.

Old Player New Team

Speaking of alumni, Laramie’s very own Kaipo Sabas no. 5 who played for the Eagles for the years he attended classes on campus is now playing for Colorado State University. Pick up the latest issue of Wingspan to read more about him in the sports section. Also visit to see other rams players and check out to see the next time you can enjoy a Rams game and support a LCCC alumna.

Don’t forget to read our most recent basketball blog at This is the New Mexico verse the Eagles game that was played November 19 written by Shelby.
