Capturing the colors of fall-Photography in Cheyenne

Cheyenne-a great subject

The Cheyenne area offers a wide variety of natural settings.  Whether you are shooting strictly nature, or perhaps aiming for a beautiful portrait background, fall on the prairie presents itself in a spectrum of yellow and gold. Some great locations include Curt Gowdy State park, Lions Park, and the Wyoming Hereford Ranch. Click here for more information about Curt Gowdy State park: http://wyoparks.state.wy.us/Site/SiteInfo.asp?siteID=4, and click here for Lions park information http://www.cheyennecity.org/index.aspx?NID=208.  For outdoor photography tips, please check out this great article:  http://www.camping.com/snap-shots-camping-photography/1284-the-magic-of-fall-photography

Amateur or professional, get out there and shoot!

From the beginner, to the seasoned professional, afternoon sunlight light makes photography lighting nearly fool-proof any time of the year.  For any level of experience, nature also makes great subject matter.  From family portraits, to senior pictures, enjoy the great light!

Going, going, gone….

Now, trough mid-late October offers some great fall foliage photography opportunities. At least until the good ole’ Cheyenne wind blows all the leaves away!

Do you have a favorite location?  I’d love to hear about it!

Happy shooting!
