Let me first start out by saying last night’s concert was amazing. Secondly, I would like to apologize to Kadawath for not mentioning them in the Honda Civic Tour preview. Swedish and Sri Lankan musicians can rock hard. So, back to the headliner.

From the moment, Haley Williams of Paramore stepped on the stage, one could feel the static in the air. And as soon as drummer Zach Farrow, hit that first beat everyone was already jumping, with fists high in the air. There was no one just standing at the mic. They were moving at 60 miles an hour going from corner to corner of the stage. Their musicianship  was precise and the vocals were never off key. I can not tell you, how many concerts I’ve been to where the band should had faked it, with front of house playing the recorded tracks in the back ground. But, Paramore is well rehearsed. Zach never missed a beat. While guitar players Taylor York and Josh Farrow, had the crowd falling to their knees with their fast licks. And bass play Jeremy Davis kept the crowd in an uproar, as he did a back roll off of Josh. And the sweet sound of Haley William’s vocals will forever be stuck in my head. The set was perfect. They came out rocking. Then they slowed down to an acoustic set with a red couch and one lamp, and during the set they honored their hometown of Nashville by  playing a country cover. And ended it, with 30 minutes of non stop face melting music.

And thats my review of  Paramore at Red Rocks, if you have any picture or video to post, please do so. Also check out Paramore and Kadawatha on myspace:

I wish I was there. I’ve yet to check out a show at Red Rocks.

There is just something about Red Rocks that is just amazing. It is truly the pinnacle of any musician’s career to play there.
