Michaela Boyd was one of 11 players in the nation to be selected to the NJCAA Division I All-American second team. This award honors the best players from across the nation. The selections is made by the NJCAA Women’s Division I Soccer Committee. Award
Boyd’s highlights at LCCC
Michaela Boyd had a break out season for the lady Golden Eagles. She played in all 18 games, scoring 12 goals and two assists, most against ranked opponents. As a junior, she helped Cheyenne Central win the 2007 state championship. Stats
At her time at LCCC, she has played in 36 games, scored 26 goals, and added five assists. Last year Boyd earned an Honorable Mention spot on the NJCAA All-American team.
Volleyball has an honorable mention
Tatyana Lukyaneko was selected to the NJCAA Division I All-American honorable mention team. She had a 36% hitting percentage, averaged 3.88 kills per game and 0.95 blocks. Stats
