Getting in shape without paying for it

They physical Education Department provides the use of physical education facilities to students taking credit classes, faculty and staff. Current validated semester I.D. Cards are required for persons using the facilities. If you are one of those people who doesn’t like to work out alone, you are allowed to bring one guest per visit with a limit of three visits per guest per semester.

Physical education complex reveals schedule

All physical education facilities except the pool and the free weight room are available for use whenever the P.E. Building is open, except when a class or other activity is scheduled in a particular area. All areas have a scheduled outside of the entry to the area. Events are posted on the calendar in the information area and outside the area involved. For more information, you can call 307-778-1385. This is an easy way to find out what is scheduled in the building on a week by week basis.

All posted hours are subject to change, particularly in the pool and climbing Wall areas.

P.E. Building Hours
M – Th. 7 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Friday 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Saturday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Sunday 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Facilities and Equipment

The information shown below was obtained from the Laramie County Community College division of Social Sciences (Physical Education), which, can be obtained from the P.E. Building.

  • 25-meter swimming pool
  • Four indoor tennis/volleyball courts
  • 30-foot climbing wall
  • Three racquetball courts with maple suspension floors
  • Two weight rooms
  • Two-lane indoor running track
  • Basketball gymnasium
  • Two outdoor soccer fields
  • Mat room
  • Indoor areas for golf, in-line skating, fencing and archery
  • Aerobic and dance center with sound system and maple suspension floor
