2012 movie might be its own disaster

12 Nov

Friday, Nov. 12, will mark the end of the world…at least in the movie 2012. The effect packed movie looks to be one of the years biggest disaster movie, yet according to the majority of the critics at rottentomatoes.com, the movie may be a big flop. The critics for the most part agree that the movie is all visual effects without much story. Though this may not make a great movie, for a visual effects buff like me, the movie still promises to be a cinematic ride!

Synopsis:

The premise of the movie is that the Mayan calendar predicts the end of the world in year 2012. The cast of characters try to survive the apocalypse as the world is plagued with natural disaster after natural disasters. From massive, earth shattering earthquakes, to mountain devouring tidal waves, the movie looks to be packed with visual effects gold.
