Cheyenne football playing in the big lights

Cheyenne Central High

There is always a first for something, I remember being little and playing basketball for the YMCA. We got to the championships and instead of playing in the normal gym we always played in every Saturday we got to play in the high school gym, where it was twice the length and the three pointers were farther.

This year the Wyoming state championship football game will be played at War Memorial Stadium for the first time. The high schools kids are going to have memories to last a lifetime. Game info

Game time for Saturday

The Cheyenne Central Indians (9-2) face the Sheridan Broncos (10-1) in the 4A state championship game at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at War Memorial Stadium in Laramie, Wyo.

Central lost to Sheridan in there first meeting in October, so they are looking for revenge.  For all you alumni of Central High or Cheyenne high schools come show your support for the Indians. Fans are welcome to see the team of from Central’s west parking lot at 2 p.m. Game blog
