Equestrian team

The Laramie County Community College will travel to Omaha, NE. for the hunt show at the University of Nebraska Oct. 31-Nov. 1. The equestrian team hasn’t traveled to Nebraska for a couple years so it should be a good experience for the young team with only six sophomore students on the team. They travel three times this year to Nebraska, the last time is for regionals in Lincoln.

Equestrian team survives Kansas trip

The equestrian team finished fifth place out of nine teams present at Colby College on October 11th. for the stock show in Kansas. They had to travel in ice storms which forced some of the team members to not be able to participate. Last year they placed third. Results last year in Kansas.

  • Kaylee Duncan placed first in Intermediate II Horsemanship
  • Brittany Metz placed first in Beginner Horsemanship
  • Elizabeth Harris placed third in Advanced Horsemanship
  • Meja Aldrich and Krystal Baker placed second in Novice Horsemanship
