Weekend woes for Lady Eagles volleyball

The Laramie County Community College women’s volleyball team beat Western Wyoming (25-21, 25-22, 21-25, 25-21) in four sets friday night in Rock Springs. The Golden Eagles (22-4, 7-1 region IX north) were led by Tanya Lukyanenko with 19 kills, five blocks and two aces. Saturday they traveled to Riverton, WY. to play Central Wyoming where the team lost in three sets (25-15, 25-8, 25-13) . Lacey Beaumont led the Golden Eagles (22-5 overall, 7-2 region IX) with five kills and Sydney Brozovich had five blocks. Roster



Revenge volleyball game with Casper Oct. 2o

The Lady Eagles volleyball team wants to get back the conference loss they suffered against Casper in Casper Sept. 29. They wanted to postpone the game since most of the team was still sick from salmonella but Casper either wanted them to play or forfeit. Coach Travis Ward stated they wanted to play Casper at full strength. He also is excited to be home  to play Casper after being on the road the last 10 games. Schedule

Coach Notes

Talking to LCCC volleyball coach Travis Ward on friday, he is excited to see how his team finishes up the year. Stating that “they have never made it to nationals and hopes to make it the first this year”. He was also anxious to travel to Riverton to play Rock Springs because of the way there coach reacted after they lost here Sept. 18. Coach Ward
