On Saturday Oct. 3, they finished third overall and on Sunday they finished second overall competing in the University of Colorado hunt show in Fort Lupton, CO. Their next event they will travel to Colby, KS., to participate in the stock show at Colby Community College Oct. 10-11. Schedule

The young team is lead by Christian Worrel who had a strong finish last year placing high in every class she was in. She finished first in Colorado over the weekend. She has some help with Krista Quint and Kylie Gregory, who finished second and third respectively. Roster

The equestrian team will host a stock show here at the LCCC College Arena Nov. 7-8. Hoping to have an home advantage like last year where they came in the first day and won the competition as a team. Come show your Eagle pride and support this young group who is making a statement.

The team competes in 11 competitions but hopes make it to nationals in Lexington, KY., May 6-9. For four years Coach Lanae Koons has at least one rider qualify for nationals, hoping to make it five this year.
